Spécialités
Dr. Mezghani received the Bachelor and Master of Science degrees (1998, 1990) from the University of Minnesota, USA. This was on low temperature noise characterization of HIGFETs with Honeywell’s sensors division in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He received the PhD and HDR degrees (2008, 2014) from the National Engineering School of Sfax (ENIS) in Tunisia, where he is currently holding a professor position in the Department of Electrical Engineering. His PhD research activities were concentrated on the design, modeling, and characterization of a new CMOS MEMS acoustic microsensor structure. The post-doc research has been on the development of performance enhanced structures for CMOS MEMS convective accelerometers in collaboration with the LIRMM in France. He has ongoing joint research work with IIT-Bombay in India conducted on the use of nanomaterials for performance enhancement of MEMS sensors. The focus of Dr. Mezghani research interests are on design, modeling, and simulation of micromachined sensors and the use of polymer materials in the development of microsensors and for energy-harvesting applications.
